Former Middleweight Champion Jake LaMotta Dies at 95

Legendary boxer Jake LaMotta has passed away at the age of 95. LaMotta, made famous as the subject of the 1980 movie “Raging Bull,” died from complications of pneumonia and was in a nursing home in Miami according to his wife, Denise Baker.

LaMotta held the middleweight title from 1949 to 1951 and was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1990.
