Cleveland Cavaliers Trade Jordan Clarkson To Utah Jazz For Dante Exum

The Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed to trade shooting guard Jordan Clarkson to the Utah Jazz for point guard Dante Exum. The Jazz will also send two future second round picks to the Cavs.

Clarkson is averaging 14.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists while shooting 44.2 percent from the field, 37.1 percent from beyond the arc and 88.4 percent from the free-throw line. Exum has career averages of just 5.7 points, 1.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists. Exum missed the entire 2015-16 season due to a knee injury.

Clarkson is making $13,437,500 this season and will become an unrestricted free agent after the season ends. Exum, meanwhile, is making $9,100,000 this season and will earn $9,100,000 in 2020-21, the final year of his contract.
