NBA Playoffs: Atlanta Hawks beat NY Knicks, Memphis Grizzlies upset Utah Jazz

The Hawks Trae Young scored with 0.9 seconds left to give Atlanta a 107-105 victory over the New York Knicks on Sunday night in a return to postseason return for both teams. Young finished with 32 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds.   The Knicks Alec Burks scored 27 points and Derrick Rose scored 17 points, but Julius Randle shot just 6 for 23 while finishing with 15 points and 12 rebounds. He had two 40-point games against Atlanta this season. The Knicks host Game 2 on Wednesday night.

The Grizzlies’ Dillon Brooks had 31 points and seven rebounds as Memphis beat the Utah Jazz 112-109 Sunday night in the opening game of their first-round playoff series. The eighth-seeded Grizzlies put the Western Conference top-seeded Jazz in the hole early in the game. Game 2 of the series is Wednesday night.
