ROSE AVE FREE COMMUNITY PICNIC AUGUST 10
Please join us Saturday, August 10, 5:00 – 7:00 PM for the 9th annual Rose Ave Community Center Back-2-School Picnic! In conjunction with our Free Clothing Center Back-2-School Outreach for children this week, we would love to have the community come to break bread & fellowship with us! As always, meat & buns, table service & drinks are provided…please bring your favorite covered dish or dessert to share! This year, thanks to God’s endless provision and the generosity of donors & volunteers in our community, we were able to provide new shoes, new socks & underwear, backpacks with supplies, and great new & gently used clothes to 75 children to start the new school year! We truly serve an amazing God and live in a wonderful community! Come help us celebrate our community & Jesus! This year we are blessed to have Kyle & Brittany Shaeffer join us to minister the Gospel of Christ with us through powerful live Gospel music! Formerly known as ‘Reflective’, Kyle & Brittany make up this dynamic husband and wife duet, and, with the many talents God has given them, they have been traveling around Ohio and surrounding states for several years, ministering the good news of Jesus Christ! God has blessed them more than they ever dreamed possible! As teenagers, God placed a call on their lives to get up and use their talents for Him, and through their obedience, God has opened the door for them to spread the love of Jesus Christ through music. “For us, our music is more than just a ministry, it is a mission”, Kyle said. “A mission to share the love of Christ with as many people as possible, and a mission to reflect the image of God, so that through us, others will find salvation through Him.” Come break bread, worship & fellowship with us and be blessed by the powerful, dynamic sounds of Kyle & Brittany as God’s Holy Spirit pours His message out through them! To help support their ministry, a free-will offering will be received. SORRY, NO CARRYOUT MEALS PERMITTED. Rain cancels picnic, but the concert will be moved indoors.
