Senior Nutrition Program
The Highland County Community Action Organization, Inc. Senior Nutrition Program and Americorps Vista Volunteer, Renee Lykins invites seniors 60 years of age and older to their congregate site for lunch.The nutrition site serves a hot, nutritious meal Monday through Friday at 11:30AM to seniors who would like to get out and join in good fellowship and make new friends during lunch.
The Senior Nutrition site is located at 1230 Greenhills Drive in Greenfield. The driveway is located across the street from the library. Transportation is provided for participants who live within the city limits of Greenfield.
Americorps Vista (Volunteers In Service To America) is a national service program dedicated to helping fight poverty in the United States since 1965.

Fayette County Memorial Hospital Visitor Restrictions
Due to the high number of flu cases in Fayette County, Fayette County Memorial Hospital is taking steps to protect our patients, families, and staff by temporarily limiting visitors to our Hospital and doctor’s offices.
Effective Monday, 10/19/2009
Visitors 18 years of age and under will not be permitted in any part of the Hospital, including labor and delivery, any inpatient unit, and doctor’s office.
Visitors who have flu-like symptomsor have been diagnosed with the flu within the past 7 days will not be permitted.
These individuals should come to the hospital, clinic, doctor’s office ONLY if personally in need of medical treatment.
Patients coming in for care with flu-like symptoms will be asked to wear a mask and wash their hands immediately.
Flu-like symptoms include:
Fever greater than 100.4 degrees with cough, sore throat, nasal congestion, headache, fatigue, body aches, vomiting, and diarrhea.
If a visitor has any of these symptoms, they will be asked to leave the hospital or the doctor’s office.

Meeting Held
The Highland County Chapter of the Public Employee Reirees, Inc. meeting will be held on March 11, 2010 at 10am. The meeting will be held at the Highland County Senior Citizen Center, 185 Muntz St. Hillsboro, Ohio. The program will be presented by Tim Sheeley speaking on the Extention Office Levy and Jim Faust speaking on the Soil And Water Levy. All members and guests are invited to attend.

Pancake & Sausage Supper
The Good Hope Lions Club will hold it's semi-annual pancake sausage supper at Wayne Hall in Good Hope on Saturday, March 13th from 11:00am to 7:00pm.
Adults $6.00 and children $3.00
Bulk sausage will be on sale. Proceeds will go to charities, local organizations, scholarships and Lion Sight Saving Programs.
